What is in the forward torpedo room?

The forward torpedo room includes:

1. Six torpedo tubes, also normally loaded
2. Ten reload torpedoes in skids (trays).
3. Torpedo loading hatch.
4. Ladder and hatch to the main deck.
5. Crew’s bunks above the torpedoes.
6. Sonar equipment. Sonar can be operated from here, but there is no PPI (plan position indicator) display.
7. Charging unit for the Mark 18 electric torpedoes.
8. Escape trunk.
9. Officers’ head and shower.
10. This space has a shallow lower level that includes two of the six torpedo tubes and two of the reloads.
